- That's what I found, too. It takes a good 1/2 second for the popup
- gadget to fully appear after you click on the chooser (when it doesn't
- lock the machine up, that is) -- easily enough time to release the
- mouse button and try clicking again, which also caused a lockup the
- one time I did that (wasn't expecting it to take that long so I
- thought my mousebutton was playing up and tried again).

- It's about 2 second on my A4000/40 as well. What version of the cycle
- gadget are you using, and which gadget is it, actually? On my
- installation, chooser.gadget is 40.69 (18/01/96). Is that the one to
- be looking at?

- I've settled on an 8 colour Productivity screen to keep a nice speed
- up (IBrowse on a CV64, when I had it, spoilt me ;). With AWeb and
- IBrowse both on a 64 colour Productivity screen, the former was
- definitely slower and felt more sluggish.
